Healthy Nerves Happy Body
One of the principle side-effects of having one's spine move out of place, is what happens to the nerves. The nerves come out from the spine, and flow into all of the organs of the body. This keeps them healthy and in tune with the body as a whole.
However, just picture what happens when one of your spinal joints, called vertebra, moves out of position, squashing the nerves channel.
I'm sure you get an idea of what damage this now causes, not just to the spine, but to the organs connected to it.
If you have ever gotten pins and needles in the hands or feet, shooting pains down the legs or arms, or any of a whole host of ills – including headaches, colds, stomach and intestinal problems, even eye and ear problems, then you may have experienced this yourself.
Thus the phrase, "Healthy Nerves, Happy Body."
So, what can you do yourself to help alleviate pain and move the spine back into position, and thus help return the nerves to health?
Well, for a start, try this simple exercise at home:
Lying face-down, rest fingers on back of head, lift chin, chest and knees off the floor, count to three and relax 10 times, once per day.
This will greatly strengthen your back and neck, and will tend to push them back in the correct direction.
Whilst really simple, it is very effective.
Naturally though, the best solution would be to see a Chiropractor, who can assist the spine to return to its natural alignment, and give you some real relief.
